| Beat Fatigue with B-12 |
We all have felt a little tired, got a little moody, or forget where we put things from time to time. No big deal right, it doesn't happen everyday or does it? The truth is many people have one or more of these symptoms on a daily basis. Sometimes it is due to medical reasons, often it is the lack or deficiency of B vitamins, specifically B-12 vitamins. Although there are studies circulating that suggest B-12 vitamins do not help with fatigue, due to inconclusive evidence. Some important facts still remain, B-12 vitamins has a long history and a solid reputation as an energy booster, along with being the most important of the eight complex B vitamins. A simple fact still remains, your body requires B-12 vitamins to function properly, along with many other nutrients. As we grow older our bodies are less able to pull B-12, a precious resource from some of the foods most rich in it. This becomes a real problem for many people, even those that do in fact eat a well balanced diet, including foods rich in B-12. Therefore, it has long been stated that in order to reach your daily requirement of B-12 it should be taken in a quality supplement. B12 benefits your body in many ways. One of its key functions is to help your body in the creation of red blood cells. These cells help carry oxygen to your vital organs, including your heart and brain. This oxygen is crucial in providing you the necessary energy to get through each day. B12 also helps with white cell production, which is important to keeping your immune system strong, which in turn keeps you healthy. B12 is properly maintaining your nervous system and helping to keep nerve cells healthy. This in turn keeps your brain functioning the way it should. B vitamins also assists in the production and regulation of DNA, which is present in every cell in your body. And since this nutrient is also a very strong antioxidant, it helps fight off free radicals which can lead to cancer. It is important that your body gets some vitamin B12 every day. It helps metabolize the food you eat so you can utilize it for energy. It does this by helping turn the carbohydrates in your food to glucose. When the glucose is released into your system, it gives you energy. Many people who struggle with fatigue and low energy often have a vitamin B12 deficiency. So there you go, just some of the many great reasons to take in B-12 daily. Some foods rich in B-12 are: liver, sardines, eggs, some breakfast cereals if it is fortified with B-12. Remember that eating these foods rich in B-12 doesn't always mean you are getting the recommended daily dose, so taking a good quality B-12 supplement can't hurt. B-12 is a water soluble vitamin and has no real side effects if you take too much. Bring a bounce back to your step, a smile on your face, and know you are doing something wonderful for your bod! Bring back the zest for life and living with a high quality sublingual B-12 vitamin...You will be so glad you did! | Some Fibromyalgia & Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Symptoms Can Be Managed with B Vitamins |
Patients with fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome share many similarities in symptoms associated with both these very painful disorders. Along with sharing many of the same symptoms, both have no known cause, nor is there a cure for either one. It can be very hard to distinguish one from the other, because it is estimated that up to seventy percent of those diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome can also fall under the guidelines of fibromyalgia and vice versa. Even doctors can become confused, because people with chronic fatigue syndrome have pain associated, which is one of the main symptoms of fibromyalgia. On the reverse those with fibromyalgia have symptoms of fatigue which is a big factor for those afflicted with chronic fatigue syndrome. You can easily see why it might leave some wondering, which is which? So what are some of the symptoms of Fibromyalgia? This disorder can affect anyone, but most commonly found in middle aged folks, and those with rheumatoid arthritis and other autoimmune diseases can be especially at risk. Fibromyalgia makes you feel tired, we all can feel tired at some time or another, the difference comes in the fact, that even though rested, someone with fibromyalgia still feels tired, causing muscle pain and tenderness to the touch for some places such as the neck, shoulders, back, hips, arms and legs. These life changing symptoms can bring on trouble sleeping, morning stiffness, headaches, along with problems thinking and memory. Those diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome have had a minimum of six months of fatigue, other symptoms include muscle pain, memory problems, headaches, pain in multiple joints, sleep issues, sore throat and tender lymph nodes. This disorder commonly affects women in their 40's and 50's, but again anyone can get it and can last for years. There is one thing that both doctors and their patients affected by either one of these disorders agree, and that is that B-12 vitamins and folic acid can help them manage some of their symptoms. Since both disorders can affect mental function, memory and thinking problems in particular. B vitamins and brain function are strong and well documented. It is no wonder many healthcare professionals, both traditional and alternative medicine, along with experts in both fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome support the use of B vitamins and folic acid to help in managing their patients symptoms. If you think you or a loved one has any or all of these symptoms, please see your health care provider to know for sure. If you have been diagnosed with either one of these disorders. Take plenty of high quality B vitamins to help with some of the symptoms. If you would you like to try a free sample of a high quality B-12 vitamins with folic acid, through our Free Gift of Health, simply fill out the form on the site. | Betalins, B-12 & Stem Cells? |
I recently read an interesting article by Brazos Minshew, Chief Science Officer for TriVita. In this informative report, Minshew had just returned from an anti-aging conference that focused on natural and pharmaceutical ways to slow the aging process and extend the vitality/longevity of humans. There were 20 speakers from around the world. All 20 of these physicians and professors eventually discussed stem cells as a way to slow aging and speed healing. Now I don't know about you, but when I think of "stem cells" I immediately think of stem cell research and the highly controversial experimentation being conducted on these tissues. Of course not knowing or understanding the full definition of stem cells, that yes there are "embryonic" stem cells which are cells that differentiate becoming different tissue that become the heart, brain and other organs in a forming human. But did you know that once a human is formed, that the body continues to make stem cells? It's true! In fact, we make stem cells everyday as part of our healing process. The difference between these stem cells and "embryonic stem cells" is stem cells the body makes afterwards replace other cells. Our bodies along with our cells eventually die, thus when a cell dies, the stem cells made in your bone marrow and other parts of our bodies are released back through a chemical trail to the dead cell, basically transforming to the type of cell it is to replace. For me it explains a lot about the aging process because it is defined as cell death and cell replacement. Further demonstrating why some people age prematurely, because stem cells cannot keep up daily with the demand of dead cells. Too many dead cells, not enough stem cells to keep up. On the flip side, if stem cells are not under such extreme demands on a daily basis, and an adequate amount can be produced daily you age slower. A healthy human being is less likely to experience chronic diseases associated with premature aging. Obviously, having a whole lot of stem cells is a very good thing indeed! Stem cells as part of the body also requires proper nutrition to function adequately on a daily basis. If the body does not receive the required nutrients for making cells and those stem cells you can become deficient. So when the call comes for cell replacement from dying cells your bone marrow will not fill the order to meet the demand, and we all know what happens then...premature aging. Or cells will be made, but lack the critical nutrients that make it a healthy cell, leaving it wide open for inflammation and disease. To keep our body making all those much needed stem cells, first and foremost you need a good foundation of proper nutrition, but you can take it one step further with specific nutrients that really stimulate the production line of stem cells. But what kind of special nutrients? Well, back to the article, and the anti-aging conference Brazos Menshew spoke of where six stem cells powerhouse nutrients were mentioned. Of the those duly noted, two stood out, one of which has an unusually large amount of the much needed stem cell nutrient, and believe it or not, it's found in the prickly pear cactus! It's Betalains! Betalins taken with B-12 vitamins may help the production. So keep the hands of time at a slower speed, help your body burn the midnight oil on the stem cell production line by feeding it just what it needs, Betalins and B-12 vitamins. The best way to get these two super nutrients is by taking superior products! So grab a bottle of Sonoran Bloom Nopalea and drink in a wealth of Betalins, then place sublingual B-12's tasty pink pill under your tongue! Now your cooking! | Is Your Skin Telling You Something? |
As a society we are very much dependant on our outward appearance. Why we spend billions, maybe even trillions on everything from the clothes we wear, to way we smell, and everything in between. But let me ask you a question, have you REALLY looked at the skin you're in? It may in fact be telling you something. Every morning we wake up and look in the mirror, often because we see ourselves 24/7, we may not really be paying close enough attention to the details. It's these details that can shed light to possible health issues lurking inside. For example: Let's start with dry skin, perhaps it's the obvious, and you just need more fluids, especially water. In the winter months especially, when so many of us are indoors for the majority of the time, often our skin is dry and irritated. Perhpas it may be that you need more essential fatty acids in order to relieve your dry skin. How about liver spots. It isn't unusual to see older folks with brown spots on their hands. Typically these spots are a direct result of sun damage, but sometimes it could be far worse. Liver spots are from a chemical pigment called lipofuscin. When this pigment builds up in your muscles, nerves, skin and brain, it isn't good. In some cases causing loss of fine motor skills in the hands and body. Extreme overload of lipofuscin in the brain could result in nervous system oxidation and possibly Parkinson Disease. If you have liver spots, keep a watchful eye on them, reporting any major changes to your doctor. and again you may find some relief by taking essential fatty acids, along with antioxidants, together nourishing and protecting your precious brain tissues. Vitiligo is a skin disorder that causes a loss of pigment in areas of the skin. The pigment loss may result in white blotches on the hands and face. Sometimes vitiligo can be a side effect of too much antibiotic use, chemotherapy or steroids. Sadly, it can just happen with no reason at all. One way you can fight back against vitiligo is with UV light therapy. B-12 vitamins are also quite helpful if you take it correctly for maximum benefits such as sublingually, under the tongue. B-12 vitamins can actually help starve the fungus that may trigger vitiligo. You can also implement the amino acid L-Phenylalanine as it holds much promise in the fight. So take heed to your body, watch for the signs that your skin maybe telling you! Nourish your skin in a bath of essential fatty acids, and reduce inflammation, by taking TriVita's OmegaPrime.
